From the subjective point of view : It is hard for “Rural worker reporters”(Free lance reporters) to improve themselves in the competition due to constraints on their individual journalistic standards. Even though they wish to come up with good articles, they may not succeed in producing relatively good reports because of limitation on their experiences and wisdoms. From the objective point of view: “Rural worker reporters” are more likely to associate with their counterparts of similar outlook on values (pursuit of financial gains ), little does this help to upgrade their working ability and reporting quality because of their isolation from the relationship of those who can really help them improve. “Rural worker reporters” seldom contact their work units, it is only a buy and sell relationship, creating no sense of belonging and credits accumulation, thereby making status promotions impossible.
